
Lime Rocket creates interactive games for live audiences, offering multiple players the chance to play on the same screen using their smartphones as controllers. Smartphone use is turned on its head, from an antisocial device to a platform that encourages interaction in a social setting.
Lime Rocket was part of the 1st cohort of Telstra’s Muru-d start-up accelerator program, and to this date remains Telstra’s first and only investment in gaming.
As a digital generalist, my position requires me to have a comprehensive understanding of various tasks. These include:
Limerocket operates their games on a platform known as BuzzyTV. A major component of my position is to venture out to events such as schools, software/game meet-ups, open-air cinema, and so on, to assist in running BuzzyTV games live. If I am not attending an event, I will be in the office developing prototypes and editing video content to help network Limerocket.
Push Over is a 3D battle arena platform game which places users on a platform to battle out and claim dominance. Players will control a ball which is to be used to knock off opposing players off the edge. Players that obtain most amount of time on the platform, will win the game. Power-ups will occasionally drop to assist players in defending themselves whilst also creating the opportunity to execute a powerful attack.

Nick has enthusiasm for game development & digital media that is matched by his commitment to the team and project delivery. He is an app digital media generalist and has demonstrated his skills producing work for game development, design & video production. He also is a team player & has been great when interacting with our product users & customers.
